The orphanage “Keur Mame Diarra”, TOUBA, SENEGAL, had the blessing of Serigne Sidy Mokhtar Mbacke (Khalif General des Mourides) on March 23, 2012. The facility opened its doors July 5th, 2012.
Young instructors known as “Serigne Daara” whose goals are to serve GOD almighty work tirelessly through humanitarian actions for the benefit of the less fortunate and the forgotten members of our communities. AN AI Khidma has been promoting the awareness through social and cultural means.
AN AI Khidma has been recognized in accordance with provisions of law 68-08 of March 26, 1968.

From July 2012 to December 2020, the Orphanage hosted 309 infants consisting as follows:

  •  175 boarders: 92 males and 83 females
  • 134 day pupils: 66 males and 68 females

Dropped out : 255 pupils 

Current status

Total pupils: 54

  • 32 boarders: 14 boys and 18 girls
  • 22 day pupils: 11 boys and 11 boys

Orphans on the waiting list: 191 pupils breaking down as follows:

  •  Former residents returning to learn the Koran and then proceed to study in a French-Arabic School or in a Vocational School: 170 orphans
  • New admission requests: 21
