Material resources

These come from:

  • membership fees, from 50 members;
  • contributions from women organised into groups (Ndayi Jirim), from Touba, Taïf, Tindody and other localities;
  • contributions from anonymous benefactors and the diaspora;
  • the Alkhidma association in Italy;
  • support from the Magal Organising Committee;
  • the sale of Barkélou cards by the Ndayi Jirim;
  • milk donations from the CEO of CCBM;
  • in-kind donations from volunteers: baby bottles, cots, milk and nappies.

Towards self-sufficiency

The chicken coop, donated by the Senegalese government, is already up and running and has started generating its first sales. Plans for a bakery are under consideration. The aim is to gradually reduce the proportion of donations in the budget.
